» The San Jose Mercury News on Salon on the tenth anniversary of its debut: "Now, a decade since Salon's Web site went live in November 1995, it's still kicking. While not exactly thriving, it is benefiting from a rebound in Internet advertising. Revenues jumped to $1.65 million in the third quarter ended September, up from $1.25 million a year ago." Worth noting: its staff numbers 65, 40 of whom are in editorial.
